Day 1: Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside, passing local villages, crater lakes, and rolling hills. Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, you’ll enjoy your first taste of wildlife during an evening game drive.

Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and if lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay near the park, surrounded by African wilderness sounds.

Day 2: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Wake up early for a morning game drive when animals are most active. This is the best time to spot predators and large herds grazing across the savannah.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of Uganda’s wildlife hotspots. You’ll see hippos in large numbers, Nile crocodiles basking on the banks, and countless bird species—making it a paradise for photographers.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you’ll travel south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

The drive itself is an experience, offering breathtaking views of terraced hills, forests, and rural communities. As you approach Bwindi, the air becomes cooler and the forest thicker, setting the stage for the highlight of your safari.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking – The Ultimate Experience

This is the moment you’ve been waiting for.

After a briefing by park rangers, you’ll trek through dense rainforest in search of a gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from one to several hours, depending on the gorillas’ location—but every step is worth it.

Spending time face-to-face with mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is an emotional and humbling experience. Watching them feed, interact, and care for their young is something you will never forget.

After the trek, you’ll begin your return journey, marking the end of an unforgettable 4-day adventure.
